PayPal (PYPL) stock price is down almost 35% this past year. The PayPal earnings report is expected to be released today in the post-market session and the adjusted EPS estimate is $1.20. Revenue is expected to come in at $7.4B. The fintech company has announced laying off 7% off their workforce. “The street will be taking a look at active customer accounts, total payment volumes, and total payment transactions. In terms of Expedia (EXPE), the travel sector has been performing well,” says Michael Zarembski.

Mike Xenakis, a former Air Force Intelligence Officer and the Chief Product Officer at Vacasa Inc, is our Coffee Hour guest on May 26. Mike received his degree from Penn State in aerospace engineering in 1990. He will discuss what it was like working as an intelligence officer, his time working at the White House, his role at Vacasa Inc, some of his favorite aspects of being a Penn Stater, and more.

Mike Xenakis received a BS in aerospace engineering from Penn State in 1990. He was commissioned and served six years as an Air Force intelligence officer. He spent time overseas, worked at the National Security Agency, and served at the White House.

After leaving the Air Force Mike received an MBA from Northwestern in 1998 and worked in brand management at Clorox in Oakland, California.

In 2000 he joined Opentable in San Francisco where he remained for 16 years. In 2012 he relocated to London to serve as the managing director of Europe.

Today Mike is the Chief Product Officer at Vacasa. He serves on various boards, advises startups and teaches a grad course for Northwestern. Mike and his wife Yianna have two boys and reside in Lafayette, California.
